EXAMINATION OF BREEDING VALUE
A corner-stone of our breeding are the examinations on breeding value. Experienced inspectors ascertain the suitability for breeding of the presented German Shepherds. According to his general synological value the dog will be "recommended" (class 1) or "suitable" (class 2) for the breeding. The basic conditions for participating to the examination of breeding value are: a certificate of training, a "good" qualification on a purebred dog show for German Shepherds, a successful test in endurance and healthy hips.
A German Shepherd has to satisfy to all these above mentioned conditions. In order to maintain and to increase the quality of the breed these examinations prove to be a significant and advisable selection.
Only the descendants from selection breeding are eligible for the puppy agency of the race union of German Shepherds. For these puppies the breeder has to deliver a pedigree enclosure. This certificate guarantees that the parent animals have satisfied to the conditions of the selection breeding of the race union. This certificate gives extensive information about the performances of the parent dogs and even of the grandparent dogs and it represent a valid proof for that.
WE ADVISE CANDIDATE BUYERS OF GERMAN SHEPHERD PUPPIES TO ASK FOR THESE CERTIFICATES FROM THE BREEDER.
Race Protecting Measures.
It is exactly his enormous popularity that means a great danger for the German Shepherd. The race union has always done its very best to protect the interests of the race against breadwinner breeders and charlatans. That's is the reason we urgently warn against buying a puppy from the advertisements in the newspapers. Always consult the race union.
We strongly advise you to buy only puppies from parent dogs that are examined on their breeding value en that are recommended by the race union.
